Conditionals and Future

 

0 – Real:
IF PRESENT + PRESENT
“If you heat water, it boils”

I – Possible:
IF PRESENT + FUTURE
“If you study, you will pass”

II – Improbable:
IF PAST + CONDITIONAL
“If you studied, you would pass”

III- Impossible:
IF HAD – Past Participle + WOULD HAVE – Past Participle
“If you had studied, you would have passed

 

Future:

Present: My train leaves tomorrow at 8.

Present continuous: We are meeting at 6 this evening.

Be going to: I´m going to study at University.

Simple - WILL: I study six hours tonight.

Future Continuous – WILL BE +ING: At three o´clock I will be studying.

Future Perfect – WILL HAVE+ ED: I will have finished dinner by 9 o´clock.
