The Hidden Cost of Meat

 1. Three options to reduce our impact on the environment are: eating less meat, saving energy at home and installing solar panels.  
Eating less meat is the most effective option.

2. The Earth receives energy from the sun.  
Green house gases, they don´t let that energy scape.

3. The meat industry produces more green house effect gases than the whole transport sector...
Methane and nitrous oxide are generated by the meat pruction process.

4. Tropical forests are being cut down to provide food for those animals.
A lot of water is also needed in the production of meat.

5. The world´s population is increasing as healthcare gets better.
Developing countries are becoming richer so they increase their meat consumption.   
6. Despite a commitment to reduce the greenhouse emissions, politicians haven´t taken any measures yet.
Measures like that would be very unpopular.

7. Will we be able to see politicians take measures on the threat to the environment disappear?
